I am an NJCST Post-doc Fellow, a collaborator between Kordinate LLC. and the Department of Computer Science at Rutgers University. I have just received my Ph.D. from Rutgers in October 2006. Before transferring to Rutgers, I have been a Ph.D. student at the Department of Computer Science, University of Maryland, College Park, from fall 2000 to summer 2002. I received my Master degree from Maryland in May 2002.  I received my B.Sc. degree in Computer Science from Alexandria University, Egypt in 1999.

Research Interests

My current research interests are focused on localization in Wireless LANs and Sensor Networks. My goal is to implement ad-hoc localization systems that are cheap, easy to deploy, scalable, and accurate.
