ON ACADEMIC INTEGRITY:
We adhere to the
University
Academic
Integrity Policy and practice ZERO TOLERANCE
on any form
of CHEATING or PLAGIARISM.
The University views such behavior as academic
dishonesty and a breach of trust.
In practical terms,
CHEATING means turning in someone else's work as your own, in
whole or in
part, even with the permission of its original author, regardless of
its
significance or correctness. And similarly for allowing someone else
to submit
any part of your own work as his or hers, regardless of its
significance or
correctness.
Turning in work without properly citing the sources of the
content included in your work is PLAGIARISM. All kinds of
sources are included in this definition, even those downloaded from
the web, in which case an operable link must be cited and a hard copy
of that page be attached to the submitted work. Even then, submitting
an answer to a HW question, verbatim from any source and without any
contribution on your part, draws zero credit.
