Hey, Rich, *IF* you find the cydonia images of the pyramids and the mars face on that cd rom set, I would appreciate it if you let me know. According to someone who responded to a post I posted to sci.space asking if the cydonia images were on the CD-ROMS of the viking images, they are not on there. BTW-you can FTP to explorer.arc.nasa.gov and find *ALL* the images from *ALL* the planetary images there on line, from the exact same CD-ROMS and many more additional ones. -- Matthew Zenkar "THBBT" -- Bill the Cat mz@moscom.com "Aliens Ate My Buick" -- Thomas Dolby or mzenkar@sescva.esc.edu My opinions do not reflect those of either of the organizations in my email address. The original set had 14 CD-ROMs, 4 more have been added and I got the entire 18 CD-ROM set. It is my hope that they are in the last 4. BTW, I understand that they are on the partially processed MDIM set. I plan to look these up via FTP. > BTW-you can FTP to explorer.arc.nasa.gov and find *ALL* the >images from *ALL* the planetary images there on line, from the exact same >CD-ROMS and many more additional ones. Yeah, I found that out later while digging with gopher. This is nice if you know what you want, but it would take forever to ftp/download all (18x680= 12,240KB) 12 GB of graphics. The set cost $133.?? including the display software (also available via ftp, now that I know what to look for). I just got myself an expensive Christmas gift. (that's one way to look at it anyway) >-- > Matthew Zenkar "THBBT" -- Bill the Cat > mz@moscom.com "Aliens Ate My Buick" -- Thomas Dolby > > or > > mzenkar@sescva.esc.edu > > My opinions do not reflect those of either of the organizations in my email > address.
