As of today, the matter is still under administrative appeal review. The Air Force appears to be deliberately dragging their feet on this matter. After questioning the Air Force in March 1994 about the delay, I was sent a letter dated April 12, 1994 informing me that the Secretary of the Air Force (Sheila Widnall) would respond. That was more than 3 monthes ago -- I particularly like the Air Force's claim that "we will review your appeal as carefully and as quickly as possible." To be honest about it, since then, I have gotten a lot more aggressive and sophisticated with the FOIA and currently have 7 FOIA administrative appeals in the system covering approximately 25 classified programs, such as FOREST GREEN, SEEK CLOCK, CENTENNIAL, and "Special Evaluation Program". Unfortunately, one has to "exhaust all administrative remedies" before taking the Air Force to court, so this is going to take a lot of time.
