  • Office Hours: Tuesdays, 4:00-5:00pm, Hill 416 (tentatively) or by apt

Other Information
  • The JavaRanch Big Moose Saloon is one of the best resources for java developer collaboration available. I strongly recommend creating an account since we will be using java throughout the course.
  • The Daily WTF website lists a single article each day from the world of 'real software development'. They are best known for demonstrating how some very simple ideas can go horribly wrong in the software development world if left unchecked. And yes, I actually have seen many of the examples they list in practice.
About the TA
  • This website is maintained by Scott Selikoff, a Phd student in the Department of Computer Science Rutgers University. After receiving my Masters from Cornell University, I have spent a number of years in the software development industry.
  • During my time in the industry, I've learned that there is a big difference between writing software in college and developing large-scale software applications. I hope to impart experiences to this class so that their transition to professional programming will not be as rocky as mine once was.
  • The best way to reach me is at selikoff@cs.rutgers.edu
