Science Department, Rutgers
University. Before joining Rutgers I was working as Research
Associate at
NEWT Lab in LUMS
which is an initiative of Dritte.
Prior to that I worked as Security
Engineering Consultant at amaana
pvt. ltd.
I completed my undergrad from National
University
of Computer & Emerging Sciences, Lahore, Pakistan.

Research
I am interested in Software Security particularly Operating
System Security
and architectural and language support for Security. I'm
also interested in Distributed Systems. Currently I am
working with Vinod
Ganapathy on Transactional
Memory Introspection using Hardware Transactional Memory. Previously I
have worked on device drivers security.
I used to work on Communication technology for developing
world with Umar
Saif. I have worked on DitTorrent, a peer-to-peer dialup
system for accelerated Internet
access in the developing world inspired by Bittorrent.
