Most of Chapters 1,2,3,6
Some of Chapters 8,9
and some other related material


Grading and Exams:

2-Midterms 25% each ( X)   (could be the best two of the three)
1- Final      50%  (Y)
Final Score max {X+Y,2Y}
Challenge Problems :  Could get you upto 20% extra above the Final Score
Homeworks : around 4-5 homeworks. Handing in not compulsory. Will not be graded. However handing in could help you push up the grade in case of borderline. Also solving homework would be a good preparation for the exams.
